Day 23 - Perth, Meikleour, Blairgowrie, Pitlochry

The weather in Scotland is so weird. Literally within 5 minute the skies go dark, it rains, and then the rain stops and the sun comes out from behind the clouds.  Then 10 minutes later the cycle starts again.  Odd!

We started the day going to Perth, nothing memorable, except we saw what Highland Bears wear under their kilts...  Nothing!

We stopped off at Scone Palace for a quick look and saw some Highland Beasties.

We passed the Meikleour Beech Hedges on the way to Blairgowrie, which is a small village, quite nice, we had a small bite for lunch in this little tea room called "Blair Coffee House and Grill".

Then to Pitlochry, also nice little village.  From there we made our way back to Aberfeldy, where we stopped at The Dewar's Distillery.  Paul wanted to go on a tour of the whisky making and look at their museum. (Ho hum, yawn...... Zzzzz ).

We then came back to our accommodation and I have taken our washing to the launderette.  Sitting typing up this blog as the tumble dryers whirl in the background.  Left Paul concocting his Scottish supper...  Haggis with Bashed Neeps & Tatties...

I will just have something that I can pronounce, like pasta, or salad.

So another day passes in Scotland.

Xxx
